I grew up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, which is a small town about an hour outside of Philadelphia. My mother can trace her family all the way back to the original colonies in the United States. My father’s parents both came to the United States as immigrants following World War II; they were forced to leave their respective countries because of their faith.
