INTRODUCING STAR POET, Mignonette!

Mignonette is an Incredibly gifted Poet and creative with a tenacious drive and zeal to make impactful strides in the World through her craft and this is very evident in her strides in the world of Literature, especially in the genre of Poetry, where she has been able to make significant strides and has a very devoted fanbase worldwide
Today, we take a little dive into the world of Mignonette with excerpts below chronicling her story.


'When my mother smiled joyfully at the finished story I had written when I was about eight years old titled “ethnic wars”, I just knew I wanted to write for the rest of my life. 

My name is Mignonette Dibang Benjure. I am a Nigerian born and raised in Abuja, Nigeria. 

I engulfed myself in books and poems from the likes of Chinua Achebe, Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, Wole Soyinka, Elechi Amadi and so many more outstanding Nigerian writers from an early age. I loved literature because it came naturally to me and felt like an innate talent.
 I grew with a passion for expressing myself through the art of poetry and stories. 

I convey my deepest emotions and thoughts through words strung into a perfect depiction of my mind. Poetry - both written and spoken- is my safe place.

I like to call myself the Witch of Words because I love concocting words into beautiful spells of lines and stanzas.

My journey into the world of writing has only just begun but watch me bloom into the best there is.

Mignonette's ability as a Poet and all round creative of repute is World Class and she was personally recommended by International Bestseller Spencer as in his words ' Mignonette is an outstanding talent and an embodiment of what a Poet should be..
