Overview
The book is an account of events of the Life and tragic death of Eric Johnson's Father, Bill Johnson, who was killed by his mentally unstable ex-girlfriend. It is pertinent to note that the location of the murder was in Bill's own home and the ex-girlfriend also did not spare his dog who was also murdered in cold blood.

Eric is a Master storyteller and in the book, you will see how much his dad really meant to him and how the murder drastically changed his Life forever.


In the Very first Chapter, Eric goes nostalgic as he remembers the vital roles of Father's in general, and an instructive excerpt from the book quotes Emile Gaboriau, ' A Father is the one friend upon whom we can always rely. In the hour of need, when all else fails, we remember him upon whose knees we sat when Children, and who soothed our sorrows, and even though he may be unable to assist us, his mere presence serves to comfort and strengthen us.

Gleaning from the aforestated, it is obvious that Bill meant everything to his Son, Eric and words cannot really accurately describe the devastation and anguish that he felt in the event of his death, especially when that call came in to Inform him about the tragedy.

Eric takes the Readers into the gripping trip to finding the truth, and also an exploration of the Justice system with Court hearings and Legal Innuendo that places the ex girlfriend's mental capacity at the crux of her Legal defence.

This is a book that I personally relate to, having Lost my Dad, despite not in the exact circumstances as in the book, but the vacuum created by the Loss of a Father is almost impossible to fill.  A MUST READ and Eric Johnson is one author that has a very bright future ahead. This book, already an International Bestseller can only grow from strength to strength.
