Introducing Luna Warner! 

Luna Warner is an exceptionally talented and gifted poet, with remarkable passion and determination to make impactful strides in the world through her craft and this is very obvious in her zeal and her consistency in the world of Literature, specifically poetry which speaks for itself.

 Her relatable and soulful style of writing is exactly why Luna is now here on the most prestigious Poetry platform in the world. 

Today, we take a foray into the world of Luna with excerpts below detailing her incredible story. 

"Hello everyone! I am Luna Warner, a self-published author of four poetry books!  

If you had told me when I was a teenager that I would be doing this, I would have laughed. I never imagined myself as an author. I have always written poetry but kept it to myself. I always feared sharing what I wrote. The only two times I did share when I was younger was when I wrote poems for close friends. Until high school, when I took my first creative writing class. I was forced to stand up in front of the class and read my poetry for a project. The class had to write notes for each speaker. The majority of the class said, “I wish you would’ve read more often; your writing is really good!”  After that my fear of sharing and not being good enough faded.

After high school, I stopped writing as often. I got busy with other aspects of my life. I worked in a Pharmacy, went to college, got my degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as a teacher for a few years. Fast forward to 2021, I was called to start writing again.  

Two of my close friends lost their four-year-old daughter in a freak accident. After it happened, I woke up early one morning with this unshakable urge to write something for her. So, I started writing. I wrote this poem and decided to send it to my friend. She texted me right back, in awe of the timing. She told me that at that moment the family was sitting around the table trying to find the words for her daughters' eulogy. That they couldn’t sum up just how wonderful she was in a few words. She said that I did that for them and the timing of me sending it was just perfect. I knew right then, I was called to write. Not just for my friend's daughter, but for others as well.  

Since then, I have been writing and publishing books. My hope is my words will help others and reach the people that need them most. I want to write to inspire and motivate people. I get my inspiration from everything and everyone around me. On my website I have an option for personal poems, these poems I do not share with anyone except the person who requested it.  

I currently have four poetry books published. My most recent book is, "The Life you Live". This book touches on believing in yourself, chasing your dreams and overcoming your fears. My other three books are Waves, The Depth of Love, and Loving You. They are all inspirational and touch on love, life and loss. All of my books can be found on Amazon.  

My writing journey will never be over. This is something I will continue to do for the rest of my life. I hope that you are able to check out my most recent book, "The Life you Live". I hope it inspires you to chase your dreams and live your best life.
