Introducing Shikha!
Shikha Madan is an exceptionally talented and gifted poet, with remarkable passion and determination to make impactful strides in the world through her craft and this is very obvious in her zeal and her consistency in the world of Literature, specifically poetry speaks for itself. Her relatable and aesthetic style of writing is exactly why Shikha is now here on the most prestigious Poetry platform in the world. 
Today, we take a foray into the world of Shikha with excerpts below detailing her beautiful story.

"I am Shikha Madan(@loveforpoetry27), an aspiring poet from India. I live in New Delhi with my entrepreneur husband and son. 
By qualification, I am a post graduate in English. I enjoy reading short stories, poetry & self help books. I always had a love for the language, but I only started writing 5 to 6 years back. 
When Covid -19 confined us in our homes, I experienced a deep void. It was then, I picked up the pen. I started writing for online platforms on Facebook. Many of my drabbles, mini- tales & micro poetry were featured. I was even chosen as the blogger of the month and was also invited to be a judge for a 100 word story contest. 
I finally started my  insta poetry page in mid 2023,with a lot of doubts initially but I gained confidence after participating & winning many poetry prompt contests.

I am extremely grateful to all the amazing platforms for featuring my work. I would also like to thank my fellow talented poets for their encouragement & appreciation. 
Writing on the gram has been an enriching experience. I have become more creative, even though I am still learning & evolving. I enjoy penning in the free verse. My purpose to write is to uplift & inspire people as I truly believe words have the power to heal. 
Besides poetry, I indulge in mandala art & in honing my culinary skills. I was the winner of the ' Appealing Appetizer' Cookery Contest hosted by ' Tingle Your Taste Buds'. I am a yoga enthusiast and I love to travel."


 Shikha's ability as a Poet and all round creative of repute is World Class  as she was personally recommended by International Bestseller and respected Poet, Joseph Spencer, as in his exact words "Shikha is such a talented breath of fresh air. Her imagery takes you to places and her wordplay is at a very top level.".
