Henrietta.O : Poetry!
This piece was originally culled from Henrietta. O’s substack
Leave me at the summit
where my dreams are a waltz of absurdity and truth
where my eyes bask in colours
Rich and somber
As I sit atop mountains afar
Where all I see are but illusions of being
Where time ceases and nature exhales
forcing out the demons
Taunts and incessant screeching
Let me lose myself stargazing
Tracing constellations as I drift away
cradled gently, softly nestled in my mother’s arms
As I remember the gentle breeze
weaving through her hair
filling the room with sweetness of childhood
til the crimson sunset
To be Continued on Substack..
