Interview with Jacqueline Kimberly!

Jacqueline Kimberly is a multiple Amazon Bestselling Poet.  Her debut collection, "Confessions Over Tequila" broke all sorts of records; topping the charts on Amazon bestseller lists with reckless abandon.  "Fractured Euphoria", her follow up second book has some how been able to usurp the achievements of "Confessions Over Tequila", as it sat as Number 1 on the Overall Poetry Charts for all continents on Amazon.  An incredible feat.  Jacqueline is also now a two time, consecutive bestselling poet and the 20th consecutive bestseller of her global writers group, "The Collab Tour" where she ranks as a prominent member.  Her upcoming third poetry collection is on the way and she gives some details.

1. How has life been since "Fractured Euphoria" dropped?

Honestly... it's been a total rollercoaster. I actually wrote the entire second half of that book overnight. Looking back, I feel incredibly accomplished and grateful, but the path since then has really been a deep journey of shadow work and reclaiming my mental health. I went through a rough episode where I lost control for a bit, but I'm doing okay now—and it feels so good to finally be able to say that.


2. Did you expect the level of success enjoyed so far by "Fractured Euphoria"?


I didn't know what to expect at all. I just followed my instincts and did what felt right in the moment, which I think is all any of us can ever really do.


3. Spencer refers to you as one of the pillars of the Collab Tour. How has the whole experience on the Collab Tour been like so far?

It’s been a phenomenal experience. Getting the exposure I've worked years for—and feeling that deep validation from readers who truly resonate with my work—means everything to me. I was genuinely thrilled back when I had just one follower, so sitting at nearly 3K now feels completely wild.

4. News around suggests you have a new book coming out, please can you confirm this?

Yes! I actually have a couple of projects in the works right now, including Flare Weather and The Fault in Ourselves. Flare Weather is coming up next, while The Fault in Ourselves is a smaller collection that I'm taking a bit more time to let stew.


5. What is the name of your new book and what is it all about?

It's titled Flare Weather: A Chronic Illness Survival Guide. It’s essentially a collection of survival notes and reflections written straight from the trenches of battling chronic illness.
6. Any pressure to hit the heights of "Fractured Euphoria" which was an Amazon Bestseller?

Nope, none at all.


7. Your concluding words to your fans worldwide.
Believe in yourself. Sylvia Plath wrote, "The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt," and I feel that truth in my bones.
